What and How to Vote? #

In the university elections, you vote for three things:

Student representatives in the Senate and University Council #

Since the summer semester of 2013, there have been two directly elected student representatives in the senate and university council. These representatives represent all students at TUM.

Student representation within the School and School Council #

The student representation of the school consists of up to 63 people. The four with the most votes also represent you on the school council. Therefore you have four votes for this election. There is also a list box if several lists run for election. You can either tick a list and give one vote each to the first four candidates on this list, or distribute up to four votes within a list. You can give these votes individually to people or heap up to three votes on one person. If only one list runs, the election will be a person-election. You have the same options as in the list election.

The elected candidates represent the students of the School in the student council, the school council, and in all other committees at the school.

Dean Election #

This year, a new dean will also be elected. The current dean, Prof. Bungartz from computer science, is probably running for the position of dean again.

Meet & Greet #

The Meet & Greet with our candidates is still unclear at this time, information will follow. However, you are welcome to write us an email if you have any questions about university policy issues.

Our Election Program #

EINMALIG #

EINMALIG is the abbreviation for the Electrical and Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics List Community at the Technical University of Munich. We are the merger of the individual student councils at TUM, together in the School CIT. Our members are firmly anchored in the student councils, which is why we are the only student group that has a view of the entire TUM and at the same time is well acquainted with the conditions in the individual study programs. This enables us to represent the interests of all students and also know where we need to compromise when individual interests conflict.

In order to sufficiently represent all interests, we depend on feedback, criticism, suggestions or questions. You can tell us anytime by email ( hopo@fs.ei.tum.de), at the student council and student general meetings held once a semester, the publicly available sessions of the student councils, the student council and the AStA and of course also in person.
