Freshmen cabin #

Are you new at the university? Just enrolled? Are you studying electrical engineering? You want to get to know the people you will be studying with? Then the Ersti-Hütte is the right place for you! We have prepared a whole weekend especially for you (Bachelor) freshmen with a lot of program.

• When: Friday 20.10.2023 (approx. 11 a.m.) - Sunday 22.10.2023 (approx. 1:15 p.m.)
• Where: at the Walchensee
• Participant fee: approx. 70€

• Journey, supply, accommodation and guidance are included

We will spend three days together at Walchensee and think that this is a great opportunity to get to know interesting people from your own semester right at the beginning of your studies! Among other things, you can also make important connections to the student council and pick up one or two unofficial tips. Through the student council you can also get actively involved in university life and help to shape it.

Unfortunately, there are only a limited number of places available (approx. 70), so hurry up and secure your place at this unique event. The cost is 70€, if you join EIKON e.V., they will cover 10€ of the cost. This includes the bus ride, the guided tour and food and non-alcoholic beverages free of charge.

The EIKON entry is possible with the hut registration. EIKON e.V. aims to connect TUM electrical engineering students with alumni. Further information about EIKON e.V. can be found on their website.

We will spend a lot of time in the fresh air - if the weather plays along and gives us a golden October. (Why else go to the mountains?!) Accordingly, you should of course be suitably equipped and for this we have a…

Packing list #

• clothes for warm and also cool days, which in the worst case can get dirty
• enough of it, in case something gets wet
• Sturdy shoes for hiking
• spare shoes, in case the first shoes are wet
• slippers
• Rain jacket or poncho
• Washing things, towels
• Hair dryer, if needed
• Small backpack for hiking
• flashlight
• Health insurance card
• identity card
